BMW Intake, Carbon Fiber, Driver’s Side

A local fire fighter came to us with a project whereby he is going to modify and replace his factory intake components with custom printed parts. His goal is to dramatically increase engine horsepower. To that end, he needed the current parts scanned and modified so as to have a starting point for this customization. The result, below, turned out very well. The pink models were created from the original scans which included a logo on top and a large patch of hook & loop tape affixed underneath. The blue models are are the final result with the desired items removed.
