Scanned with the Artec Eva, these are marble columns that frame the altar in the sanctuary of St Louis University Highschool. The sanctuary is being renovated and the architect needed accurate models with which to create new marble copies. Scanned at very high resolution, the model faithfully captures all of the details. Because they are directly in front of the altar, there was no way to scan the reverse. So the capital features will be digitally stitched together to create a full replica.
