A client came in wanting a highly accurate model of this assembly with which to reverse engineer the design. Because these are no longer manufactured, the only way to replace it is to machine a new one. With the model, the process of doing so is substantially less arduous. Scanned with the Artec Eva at extreme resolution, the result is over 5.5 million triangles. This model has been reduced to 300k for display.
