Ocean Racing Boat Repairs

We were hired by Elite Composites, a large fiberglass manufacturer/repair facility in Highland, Illinois to scan the hull of this racing boat which flipped and broke apart off the coast of Miami. Using the scan data converted into a solid surface, they are able create a mirror image mold with which to rebuild and repair the boat. Below, you can see how much detail the scanner picks up. The graphics applied to the hull clearly show up due to the thickness of their material. Not only do we scan, we are experts at processing the scans to achieve outstanding results for our clients.
